Breakfast
After a deep restful sleep wake to the Shetland Country Air and a feast of local produce awaits you in our dining room. Taste our best, and Shetland's finest local produce prepared with care and with passion. Choose from a cold table of fruit, cereal, yoghurt & juice and from our list of breakfast products you can choose your hot breakfast arrangement, cooked to order for you. The full breakfast is included in the price of the room.

Evening meals
We offer a small range of tasty meals to choose from. Giving you the choice of Shetland cuisine or a more global taste. All our food is made in-house and with fresh local ingredients. Open from 6pm - 9pm.


Dinner Menu

  • Haddock & chips

    Locally caught breaded fish, served with chips and peas.

  • Lamb Tagine

    Local lamb prepared in a Morrocan style, served with couscous.

  • Lasagne

    Popular Italian dish, served with salad.

  • Mellanzane Alla Parmigiana (V)

    Sliced aubergine layered with our own tomato basil sauce, baked slowly. Well vlavoured dish topped with parmesan & served with Shetland bannocks.

  • Shetland Saucermeat Burger

    Burgers made with a traditional local recipe. Served in a sesame bun with melted cheddar cheese & salad. Servied with chips & coleslaw.

  • Pizza

    Thin based pizza with napoli sauce & mozarella, with toppings of your choice. Cheddar cheese, bacon. peppers, olives, chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, beef sausage.

  • Baked Salmon

    Oven baked salmon served with a side of steamed vegetables.

    Servied with a Shetland bannock.

  • Tattie Soup

    A thick stew of potatoes & vegetables made with local reestit mutton & served with a Shetland bannock.

  • Falafels (V)

    Our staff make these fresh with chickpeas. Delicious, served with salad and sweet chilli sauce.

  • Small Salad

    A small salad with a mix of lettuce, tomatoes & spring onion, combined with any of the following. Smoked mackerel, hot smoked salmon, bacon, cheese (V).

  • Oatcakes

    Oatcakes served with cheese and red onion chutney.

  • Sticky Toffee Pudding

    Our old fashioned pudding oozing toffee sauce, served with ice cream.

  • Apple Crumble

    Classic apple crumble served with custard or ice cream.

  • Ice Cream Medley

    A trio of ice creams - raspberry ripple, vanilla, and chocolate.
